XP WON'T RESTART

Upset with Microsoft

After cridical updates are installed. XP won't restart.
computer hard drive light stays on. Have to unplug power
then push on/off button. This is an Athlon 64 3000+ chip
& Neo 8 MSI board 512 ram.

Hi

Can you access Safe Mode to uninstall the Updates? If you uninstall each
one in reverse order, you may be able to find out which one is causing the
problem. Failing that, try the Windows Update News Group:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
