XP won't load after installing Vista

Hey, guys.

I installed Vista to a separate partiton, everything went great and Vista
works very well. However, I can not get WinXP to boot. I have tried
VistaBootPro and still I can not boot to XP. I can access the files and can
see the drive just fine. On the bootscreen, WinXP is even listed as a choice
to boot to. But, when I select it, nothing happens.

Any sugesstions?

Thanks.

Take care.

You say you see XP listed on the menu, which one, the Windows Vista BCDEdit
menu or the Legacy version of Windows menu? I know when I want to boot XP, I
have select Earlier version of Windows, select Windows XP and press Enter.

Set XP to boot first as default with a 20 second delay.
That way you have a choice of either selecting the version on windows to
boot from(earlier version of windows =XP)
or Windows Vista.
If you have XP as default boot OS then after 20 seconds it will auto boot.
