I have had a few problems with my computer recently. after i installed SP3 a
few days later my login screen went beserk. my brother used system restore on
it and it fixed itself. but i went on my computer yesterday it went to the
window version where you type your username. i changed it back and a window
appered with the send and don't send. my computer isn't connected to the
internet. my brother then uninstalled SP3 from the add/remove programs window
and on the registry part another window came up and said "to help protect
windows, the following application will be closed. Window regrister thingy"
and then the send/dont snd thing came up. didint send and the protect windows
thing came up again. the computer eventually stoped and restarted. and then
it came up with the windows boot screen and then went back to my ASUS page
and to the boot screen. it does the same thing in safe mode. What is Wrong

Well with the description you gave it's very difficult to say
specifically what's wrong. Just remember we are not there looking over
your shoulder to see what's being displayed on your monitor. So to help
us, you need to give as much detail as possible about your problem.
That includes the complete text from any error messages that you see,
and a description of the problem.

Singapore Computer Service

Hello,

Switch on your computer and keep hitting F8 until you get a menu titled
"Windows Advanced Options Menu". If you see the XP loading progress bar, you
missed it and will have to try rebooting again.

If there is only one option in that menu, hit F8 again.

In this menu select 'Disable automatic restart on system failure', Enter,
Enter and you should be able to view the full blue screen error when it
occurs again. Post back the message here and we will be able to help you
better
