XP Windows updating problem

I have a situation where I get a balloon message saying that there is
updating required(I have arranged for auto updates but inform me first)
There were 4 updates KB832483, KB837001,KB891781and KB3826939. I duly
downloaded them and was informed that the downloading was successful.
But subsequently the balloon message appeared again for the same downloads.
I checked the history and was informed that they had been installed
To make sure I went to the Microsoft Web site and downloaded form there.
With the same result.
How can I stop this happening?

Try this:

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_hotfix_prompt.htm - Prevent
Windows Update from prompting you to install a Hotfix you know is
already installed
