xp will not run on pc

I have a biostar mother board with intergrated items model M7VKQ Pro during
loading I get blue sreen of death was running XP on system but kept shuting
down and would not restart would have to shut down completely. same hardware
will run win 98 with no problem but will not load or run xp know.

You should do a check for WinXP compatible hardware.

my mother board is listed under item made for xp so there has to be another
problem stoping the soft ware from loading looking for any help in getting
this matter resolved thx

Because win98 runs doesnt neccessarily mean that winxp will.

You said winxp was previously running, but had problems.
What happened to the installation, did you format the pc ?

Sounds like a hw related problem, initially try removing all extra hw and
use only a single ram stick.
You could also try memtest86
