What do you mean "XP wants to format your second hard drive"? Windows XP
does nothing unless you command it to do so.
What are you trying to do?

I have a dataport, with 2 disk drawers, one with xp and I was installing xp on the other. When done, xp would'nt open my third disk, installed in the box, which had everything i've been working on for the last year on. I had to format it to use it again. I've installed operating systems for a while now. I did'nt do anything to the third drive while installing.
