XP vs. Server

I have a home office set-up where I run 3 systems...1
laptop with XP PRO and 2 desktops (1 celeron with '98, and
the main desktop.) I am currently running 98 on the main
desktop, but it is slow, and I am going to upgrade to a
different OS, but I am wondering what to use...XP or
server. I will be running a CRM application, in addition
to file, data, and print sharing. Any suggestions?

Greetings --

What are the hardware specifications of the system in question?
Odds are, if it's slow running Win98, it will be even slower with
WinXP. Additionally, if the machine is old enough to have initially
come with Win98 installed, it may not support WinXP at all.
