xp upgrades

I have recently reformatted my hard drive, re-installed xp, but now
microsoft says I cannot download SP2 as my copy is unvalidtaed. I tried
validating without success. Where else can I get SP2?

Will it not validate because its a pirate copy? If its legit contact
microsoft, if its a pirate you should still be able to update it via windows
update. Microsoft aren't stopping security related updates to pirated
computers because of the overall security problem.
