Hi everybody,

I have an old (2005) LG PC which I recently reformatted with XP.
Unfortunately, I dont have the audio drivers anymore, so I could not
re-install them. My PC's audio had stopped working.
There is no documentation for that old PC, so no way of finding out
which drivers I should download.

Where do I start?

Regards,
Ravindra

Since XP is going End of Life (EoL) in a matter of weeks... Was that a good idea ?

Oh sure it is. I'll probably will be using my XP machines for another 20
years at least. It is far better at multitasking than any of the newer
Windows. ;-)

If the manufacturer still has a website, the drivers may be there

otherwise you can ID your audio chip by using the free utility

hwinfo32

then Google for the drivers
