XP Upgrade Install Failure - Please help

Hi.

We are trying to install an XP upgrade on a Thinkpad.
There should be no conflict between the two. The install
fails in teh middle and shuts the computer down.

Any help would be appreciated!
 
What error does it fail with? How are you running the upgrade?
