XP turns on by itself

Dear Fellow XP Users:

My computer turns on automatically from a completely shut
down state.

After using it, I can turn the computer off without
receiving any error message. However, within one or two
minutes, it turns on automatically. I checked online help,
and see that this often occurs when incompatible software
is installed. But, I don't have Roxio or Easy CD on this
system. "Automatically Restart" under the Advanced tab is
also unchecked, but I'm not sure that that matters. Any
ideas?

Does it happen when the phone rings? You might may have wake on lan
capabilities. Turn it off in CMOS setup.
