XP to Vista - Purchased Software

Hi, I have Office XP, NVIDIA graphics card, a new TV card, and some other
games. Should I expect any of it to work with Vista if it did not say Vista
compatible on the box when I bought? what are most experiencing with this
issue? Should I just buy my new Dell with XP on it and wait a while?

Thanks

Office XP works with Windows Vista

As for the others, check the manufacturers website for the specific
model and their Windows Vista compatibility.

My guess is the video card will work but have no idea about the TV
card.

Many things are compatible and many others are not.
The older something is, the less likely there will ever be Windows
Vista support from their manufacturers.

You should never make assumptions that software or hardware will work
with a different operating system. Office XP, for instance, has issues.
Outlook doesn't remember passwords, and this will not be fixed.

You need to go to the hardware device/software program mftrs.' websites
and look up Vista compatibility with each device and program.

Then you can make an informed decision about the operating system you
want to run.
