XP Taskbar Problem

Hi,

I just rebooted my PC, and my taskbar has messed up.

The quicklanch items are there, but it doesn't display
the open windows (i.e. Internet Explorer etc), and
whatever is open in Windows.

It really wierd and annoying

Any ideas?

Is your Quick Launch taking up the entire area? You may want to check for
side sliding handles you can grab or trying turning off the Quick Launch and
Notifications area and see if they re-display.
