XP startup of Logitech keyboard software error - Itouch.exe

Hi,

Has anyone had this problem. New Itouch software, updated all for cordless
keyboard/mouse from Logitech. XP error loading at startup. itouch.exe
loads manually, and will load automatically if I logoff/logon. On new
boots, it never loads into systray like it should, and I get an Xp load
error,
referring me to Logitech site. Asked for Logitech support on this, emailed
same 2x, they have remained silent. Saw this problem searching internet,
but
no answers so far.

Thanks for any help

I had the same problem after several calls and e-mails to Logitech was still
unable to resolve the problem. I uninstalled their software and just use the
default XP ones now. Missing a couple of features but at least it works.

Where was it loading from? On mine it loads in the registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
from the line (right pane)
zBrowser Launcher REG_SZ C:\Program Files\Logitech\iTouch\iTouch.exe
(REG_SZ indicates String value if you have to create it manually)

You may need to run it manually and take its Configuration - Options to
show the icon in the taskbar
