Installing logitech itouch

I just got a new computer and I'm trying to install the keyboard installation
software (logitech itouch) and I get an error message stating "Sorry, this
software is not compatible with your operating system"

I don't understand as this is a new computer and it has Windows XP
Professional. I didn't have this issue with my old computer. Some suggestions
would be much appreciated.

Check on Logitech's website for an XP driver for that keyboard.

So I've installed a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, and they work fine.
But,... now the "stand by" button is unavailable from my shut down menu.
And when I choose "turn off" , windows shuts down but my tower remains on.

Any suggestions?
