XP STARTUP Logo

Hi all:

I am a windows XP Pro user, and when I see the logo for xp come up on my
screen I would like the date to say 2003, not 2001.

I would also like if the bright bar would be animated while all the
drivers are loading.

Any Ideas how I can modify and what file I have to modify to get my
desired look.

Wait for the SP-2 to come out and it will say 2003

I Think David is referring to the Copyright 1985 - 2001 logo screen loading

Hi Clayton,

Yes he is and that won't/doesn't change with SP2 being installed, as you
stated. (

The closest he can get and this won't accomplish much either, is having
Media Center 2004 installed. Under system properties (running here):

Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Upon boot:

Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
1985-2001

So he best, look for all of the other cosmetic things that CAN be changed in
XP, in the meantime. <w>
