Customized IE Logo

Hi,

I noticed that in windows 2000 I am able to make a custom logo by adding the
'group policy' snap in to the mmc interface. Is there a way to do that in XP
home? And while we are at it. Is there a way to customize the startup
screen?

One final question, in the group policy thing, it asks for a bitmap file
(for the animated logo), I've never seen an animated bmp file. Even
photoshop does not have that. Can you give me some more details?

Thanks

Thanks. Great tutorial, but I have a small problem. My logo is in the center
of the rectangular area surrounded by a black frame. Is there a way to get
rid of that frame? My Logo is white !!

Dear Customer,

Your logo BMP file should be Width=100, Height=100. If it's smaller, you
should use the Photoshop or other picture editor application to enlarge it
to 100*100. Then, you should not get the black frame.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!

Sincerely,
