XP Startup bypasses user login screen directly into my user account.

When booting my PC afresh, the user login screen is bypassed and XP goes
directly into my user account despite it being password protected.

Any ideas?

Hi Simon,

Check your Auto-Logon settings here:

1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

2. On the Users tab, check: Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use
This Computer check box and then click OK.

If you are using TweakUI, check yours settings there as well.
