I built my own PC. Is there a way to name the System Model and Manufacturer
so that when I display system info it will say something other than none?

Sure, open notepad and create a file called "oeminfo.ini" and put in your
"system32" folder - sample contents below:

; Manufacturer and Model are displayed on System.General page
; Manufacturer is a required field
[general]
Manufacturer=Dell Computer Corporation
Model=Dell Workstation PWS450
SupportURL=http://support.dell.com
LocalFile=

[Support Information]
Line1=When contacting Dell Computer for support, please have
Line2=the following information available.
Line3=
Line4= Asset Tag: XXXXXXX
Line5= Express Service Code: XXX-XXX-XXX-XX
Line6=
Line7=For online support, please go to http://support.dell.com

I spoke to soon. I tried to do the procedure and also downloaded an OEM logo
stamper that didn't appear to work either. Do you think SP2 could be at
issue?
