Hi,

While it is true that you have no disks in the CD Drive, the computer
may think that you do. Is your house, that is, the location of the computer
in a dusty area or smoked-filled room? Use a Air-Can Spray and clean out the
CD Drive, then use a CD Cleaning kit, to clean the CD Lens. Also use a
Typewriter brush and brush off and around the motherboard.

Check inside the computer case for dust and clean it. The computer has a
fan that blows air on the CPU to cool it, thus pulling in dust inside the
case.

well, it sounds like your
"Computa is non grata" too.

The suggestion to clean is a good one.
However, it may also be a corrupt driver. Try to explore it via computer
management via admin tools.
You can also, try and unistall the driver and reboot to see is windows
installs the driver again. .
