Hi,

Ive been getting this error message that causes system hang. On system
startup the hang is infrequent and slowly causes the system to freeze
every few seconds.

ATAPI (AT Attachment Packet Interface),youre error usually means the
controller or a hd is malfunctioning,try connecting youre IDE drives to the
other controller then see if the error continues.If it does,download from the
hd mfg thier DOS check up utility,install the utility to a MS-DOS formatted
floppy,then boot to floppy and run the test(s).
