XP shared printer woes

Hi,

Another XP Pro workgroup file/printer sharing problem. First the
printer.

Just 3 XP pro SP1 machines on a home network
Antivirus firewall is OFF
XP firewall is OFF
NetBios is ON
classic file sharing policy is ON
Simple file sharing is OFF
Browsing service is ON

Printer is shared to EVERYONE (print and manage documents). The
computer with the printer shows up in network neighborhoods but not
the printer itself, either there or browsing for printers.

Any attempt to connect to printer \\computer\printer gives 'you may
not have permission' errors. Isn't EVERYONE everyone??

Thanks,

Peter

Solved. I added passwords to the accounts (I was using the same
name/no password combination on all the computers). Still think
EVERYONE should mean everyone <g>.
