Printer sharing problem

I hope this is an appropriate group for this question.

I am trying to set up printer sharing on a small LAN. We have three
computers, two with XP home and one with XP pro. One of the XP home
computers has a printer attached. The printer is functioning correctly. The
printer is shared. The other pc with XP home can print to this printer
without a problem. The XP Pro machine can not see this printer. When I use
the add printer wizard to install a network printer , it shows both of the
XP home PCs in the 'Browse for printers' dialog but it doesn't show the
printer associated with the XP home machine. I have tried entering the path
to the printer but when I try to complete the setup the dialog box
'disappears' and the printer is not created.

Any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated.
