XP RIS Image

Windows 2000 RIS Server which is currently used to image PCs with Windows
2000 Professional.

I want to create an XP image to rollout to new PCs but I need to keep the
old 2000 images functional.

Is it possible to have both Win2k professional and XP pro images on the same
Win2k RIS server? Any special config or tricks and tips?

Yes it is possible to have images of multiple platforms at the same
time, even servers...

Make sure you have SP4 installed on the RIS Server

Thanks for the reply.

So...given that I have a CD image of Win2k Pro on the server and a number of
different Win2k Pro Riprep images what do I need to do for XP. Do I have to
put a CD image of XP on the server? How does RIS differentiate between the
two?
