I have this brand new Dell Dimension 4600, I installed XP
pro. After 2 days, it keeps on rebooting. I have
installed all the latest patches on it, and have run AV
on it. I know for certain it is not a virus. I went into
event log with an ID of 1003. I click on the support
link, it said something to the affect that the USB Lexar
Reader needs to be updated. Well, I have never attached
any USB device to it. I don't know what program calls for
this device. Went to Lexar, for XP, no driver needed.
Called Dell, no help. So I thought, ok...I
reinstalled...same damn thing....please help...I talked
to Dell, maybe hardware...but since Diagnostic shows no
error. They would not exchange a new one for me...I can't
even installed W2K Pro because there is no NIC driver for
W2K. Dell was of no help either...I even went onto
Intel...for Pro 100VE, but since it is built into Dell
system, it did not work....
Thanks....
