XP Registry recovery

My XP (home eddition PC) will not boot up because of a
registry error. I did not make a boot disk because it does
not have a floopy and I was unaware I could boot from a
CD. I also can not boot from the system disk - run into
the same registry error as it reads from the C:/ drive.
How can I create a bootable CD, without an XP computer?

You are not booting to the cd if you still get the error. Go into the bios
and change the cd drive to first in the boot order. When you boot to the cd,
you have to see "Press Any Key to boot from cd." Then use Repair or the
recovery console to correct the errors.
