XP reboots while rebooting..

Hi all

I need some urgent help..

While my XP pro is booting showing "loading windows XP" the PC
automatically reboots and the cycle keeps on rebooting.. I used all the
functions including safe mode in F8 but while booting the PC again
reboots..

Just before this error the audio/video programs were not working
properly.. like winamp WMP were not starting.. I think there maybe some
video codecs and/or display driver problems..

I do not think it is a virus.. well, my NAV is always uptodate..

So ppl please help me.. i just can't start my windows XP.. need urgent
help...

I would possibly try and find a new video card and put it in and see if that
helps you out. I would also say that this problem could be a memory issue. I
have seen bad memory cause weird things like this. If you have more than 1
sim in your PC try taking 1 or 2 of them out and boot up with just 1 sim in.
If you boot up put another one back in and then you can see if you have a
bad memory sim.

I hope this helps a little

Thanks

If you cannot boot into Windows using any of the startup options then
your next choice is probably to do a repair install of your Windows XP
as per the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

This will preserve your installed applications, user data files, and
configuration settings. However all repeat all Windows updates will
have to be reinstalled.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you do not have a third-party firewall installed then unplug your
Internet connection and do not let the computer connect to the
internet until the repair install is completed and you have activated
the built-in Windows XP firewall. Otherwise you will be infected with
the MSBLAST or WELCHIA virus within a few seconds of going on line.

Good luck
