XP Professional Upgrade

I saw a listing for a Windows XP Professional Upgrade. My question is
this: I currently have Win 2000 Pro and I want to upgrade to XP Pro
but when I upgrade I want to do a complete overhaul and reformat my
hard drive and install XP Pro by itself. Is this possible with the
"upgrade" version or would I have to install Win 2000 Pro and then
Upgrade to XP Pro?

Yes, during the installation process, XP Pro will ask you to insert your
Windows 2000 Pro CD.

The upgrade cd will do a clean install as well as an upgrade install. You'll
need your win2k disc during install for proof when asked.
