Display Settings are Reseting

I have a computer that every once and a while changes the display
settings on me.

Also, I have a computer that seems like no matter how many times I go
in and tell it to display the contents of the windows while dragging
them, it just keeps going back to the other way.

Both computers are running Win XP Pro.

Any suggestions?

Do you have a Dell? If so, uninstall the repellent Dell Media Experience
(Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel) and your "display window
contents while dragging" problem will disappear. As for the computer
where the display settings are changing, it's hard to say with so
little information. It could be a failing video card or monitor, other
software interfering, I just can't tell. Repost with full details about
that computer if you want more help.
