XP Professional Licensing question

I purchased a full copy of XP Pro and installed it on a
PC. Before I activate the license, I'd like to know if I
can use this version on a new PC under these circumstances:

1) I delete the partition, throw out the current PC

2) I delete the partition on this PC, then reinstall the
OEM version of Windows ME that came with the PC and donate
it to my church.

From what I read on the "casual copying" and EULA, these
seem within the licensing agreement. Anyone know how I do
this?

Hi,

Retail version? If so, then both answers are "yes".

Both are OK, provided it was a boxed 'retail' copy of XP and not one of
the cheaper OEM ones, bought with a token item of hardware, and 'for
supply only with a new computer, whose license is solely to the machine
on which first installed.

Having removed it, go ahead and install on a new machine. When it comes
to activation, you may find it will go through on the net anyway - if
more than 120 days since you last did it certainly will. If not, you
will have to phone a toll-free number that will be given, to explain and
swap one long number for another to check back as you type it in
