xp pro toolbar missing [re-post]

neither ie OR win explorer have toolbars present (file, edit, etc...)
i would love to delete ITBarLayout from the 3 appropriate files in the
registry
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar -
WebBrowser, Explorer, and ShellBrowser]

HOWEVER
ITBarLayout does not exist anywhere

can anyone tell me what to do?

It sounds like you have been hit by bunch of spywares and toolbar searches
that's now imbedded in your system. Try repairing your IE:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378

worked!!!
i now have all my tool bars back!
that was all i had to do
