I'm trying to run a repair installation of XP Pro from my retail purchased
XP. I repeatdly get file corrupiton errors referring to the cd/media itself.
Where can I go to request a replacement copy of my CD?

Just a guess here: Perhaps you could return the CD to the place where you
bought it?

I've owned it over a year. My experience in the past was that MS would
replace the disk for a small fee, if I can prove I own it and that its
authentic.

I'm looking for a URL or email address to inquire about this. Not excited
about spending $100 for a new cd because the disk is scratched or something.

If the machine is having file read errors when copying files from the CD to
the hard drive it can sometimes indicate bad memory. Might be worth
downloading memtest and let it cycle a few times. Better to find out before
spending money on a new CD
