XP Pro Logging on very SLOW

I have a small network with approx 30 PC's we have a Legacy Netware 5 File Server and now have a Win 2000 Domain Controller also running Exchange 2000 and a standalone Win 200 Server running ISA as Firewall/Web Proxy.

With Win98 I have no problems now I am introducing XP Pro PC's I am getting problems.

I have installed the Netware Client which works fine. If I logon to Netware and the PC only I have no problems accept I can't get to Exchange properly. I then set the PC's to logon to the domain as well and now each PC can take several (5 or 6 or more) minutes to logon.

How can I speed up this logon process.

Hi -

In a Windows 2000 domain the primary DNS server listed on
the workstations needs to be the Win2k DC. If they have
static IPs or are receiving addresses from the Netware
server this might not be the case. It's worth a look,
anyway.

Hope this helps -
