Mapped drives not showing in Explorer

Hi. I'm having a problem with a PC, that I've seen reported elsewhere,
however the only fix suggested doesn't work for me.

The PC is a Windows XP SP1 desktop, connecting to a number of Windows
2003 shares, and also a Netware share using GSNW on an NT server. The
issue is that after logon, in which the users login script runs
sucessfully, not all of her drives are shown in Windows Explorer. If
you try and access these drive from an application however, they are
there.

Other posts I've seen elsewhere have suggested turning off "Fast Logon
Optimization", using the GPO setting Computer
Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\Always wait for the
network at computer startup and logon, however this has made no
difference to the issue.

Anyone have any other ideas? It seems that if I manually (using net
use) delete and re-map the drives when the user is logged in it's fine,
but obviously this is an annoying work around.

Cheers

What contents do your boot scripts contain? Tried using " net use " in the
boot scripts?

Have you tried using the "/persistant" switch ?

Our logon scripts do use "net use". I don't think we use the
/persistant switch, because the way our logon script works it deletes
all drive mappings before it maps any new ones.
