xp pro install again

Well i will try again. Have xp running fine except: task scheduler doesn't
run & have 2 copies of some icons in the sys tray. Sys tray was that way
with me. So should i reinstall & if so any special thing to do on the
install? TIA

Since you didn't quote any references or part of previous posts, I don't
know what your original problem was. However, here are links to
information on the two types of Windows installs:

Understand that if your current installation was problematic, has
spyware or viruses, doing a Repair Install isn't going to be useful.
