My computer would not allow a shutdown after a couple of programs froze.
Could not shut down from Task Manager. I did a hard shutdown, then rebooted.
I was away from the computer for a few minutes for the reboot. When I
returned, the computer was running through some activity on a blue screen
that showed Microsoft XP in the upper right. Here are the processes that ran:
"Sorting index $I30 in file (file name)"
"Correcting error in index $I30 in file (file name)"
"Recovering Orphan file (file name)"
Any thoughts?
