XP Pro delete?

Is it possible to install a NEWLY- purchased XP Professional CD(Over this
pirated version of "XP Pro" that someone installed onto my machine without my
knowing it?)

Is there anyway that i can delete this pirated version from my add/remove
system?

I fear that if i try to do an uninstall-that the guy who first installed
this pirated version of XP PRO-has ALSO put a password in preventing me from
uninstalling?

He has already done so-with my present security suite!

Would the pirated version of XP Pro be deleted if a installed a brand new XP
Pro version on top of it?

please help! its giving me an headache :-)

The normal way to uninstall or "delete" any operating system, including
WinXP, is to format the hard drive.

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

Yes, you should be able to use the legitimate retail (or OEM) full
license of WinXP Pro to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade)
installation, using the new CD and Product Key.
