XP Pro connection wizard - greyed out - dial up modem

I have upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro, and now seem to
have lost my dialup internet connection.

Need to re-enter local ISP detail and the interconection
wizard is only allowing me to select Broadband connection,
I have checked the internal modem, reseated it, went to
download Modem drivers taken off the Compaq site, and
error message says the modem is not connected.

Any ideas !

This is the usual reason...
