XP Pro activation

I have an xp pro cd that came with my laptop. I used it
online to activate when my harddrive crashed. After my
hard drive crashed my school fixed the hard drive and
gave me a new Xp cd. I used the new xp cd and activated
it online successfully. My ONLY question is CAN I USE
THE OLD XP CD ON MY OTHER LAPTOP TO UPGRADE IT, BEING
THAT IT WAS USED BEFORE ON THE PREVIOUS LAPTOP??????

No as it is probably an OEM Liscence. May be very wrong though

Correct, Lee. If XP came installed on the laptop (OEM) it can't be
transferred to another computer.

Correct, Lee. If XP came installed on the laptop (OEM) it can't be
transferred to another computer.

It can be physically transferred, but MS doesn't like people doing it,
and there really is anything they can do about it but whine.
