xp printer epson prob

thought my printer (espon c40ux) was bust when i got my new dell last
week, now got a new c44ux which doesnt work too, also just bought a
new usb cable just in case that was causing the prob, to no avail

error message- printer connection could not be confirmed- check
connection then hit retry.....

does it think it cable printer instaed of usb cable printer or
something- or is epson not compat with XP home ed.

please help!!!

Check and see in the Device Manager , if the usb is operational. Maybe the
board drivers need to be reinstalled. Jym
