XP Power Settings Not Holding

I have (13) desktop computers, in a domain, that I maintain as the
administrator at a State University. They are used frequently by users
with accounts on our domain. They are in lecture halls and classrooms
accessed by professors and other faculty.
I set the Power Scheme to Presentation, Hibernation to Off (Uncheck
Enable
Hibernation) and Screen Saver to none. When a regular user logs into
the PC
in the settings revert to Power Scheme to Home/Office Desk,
Hibernation to
On (Checked Enable Hibernation) and Screen Saver to WinXP in 10
Minutes.
Can I make the settings I want to hold for regular users.

You know, after I posted this I thought about it and you don't really
want a mandatory profile because you really need *two* profiles; one
for your lecturers who are going to use the presentation mode and one
for your regular users who are aren't. I've been Googling around
without much luck, but what about using hardware profiles? Could you
have one group of your users with one hardware profile (which would use
the presentation mode) and the regular users with the hardware profile
that wasn't presentation mode? Sort of like one would do for Docked or
Undocked with a laptop?

Here's the MS hardware profile overview:

Anyway, I'm sorry I wasn't able to come up with a definitive answer for
you. I'm sure someone who has done this will come along.

Good luck,

Malke
