XP Power Schemes

I have a new Toshiba laptop running XP Home. When I try to
configure power schemes I get the message "To adjust power
management settings, close Microsoft XP Power Options and
use Toshiba Power Saver",

but I can't find the MS XP Power Options.

Hi Ron,

The Toshiba laptops have their own power managment software installed. The Windows XP power management UI gets disabled
by this software. Go into control panel and open the Toshiba power saver utility to configure the power options. More
