xp not loading

Recently i used system recovery to try to fix some performance problems, i
used the non destructive option and now whenever i try to switch the pc on it
gives me the option of loading in safe mode, safe mode with networking etc.
now, no matter what option i pick it freezes on the xp loading screen after a
few seconds, this has left the pc un-useable and i cant see anyway of helping
it, anyone have any suggestions??? cheers

If you don't have a WinXP CD to do a Repair Install then I would
suggest a trying a complete System Recovery after you
copy all your important data. That could be done fairly easily if you
can use another computer and connect your drive
to it.
