XP Network why doesn't it ......

Hi All,
I have installed windows xp pro on my machine. It installed properly save
for 2 problems, 1. Network Controller 2. Ethernet Controller will not install
the drivers. The task bar on the bottom right hand corner keeps telling me
that a network cable is unplugged but there is a network cable in and its
lights flash.

I have an onboard network card and a network card in one of the slots, i can
plug the cable into either and there is network lights on both cards.

Have checked in Device manager and inext to the Network controller &
ethernet controller devices there is a question mark which indicates that
there is a problem.

Could anyone tell me where to get the drivers for these devices, i would
have thought that xp would have installed these for me.

You will have to determine the manufacturer of these devices (open the
tower) and go to the website of the manufacturer and download the drivers
for your cards that work with your OS.
