XP Laptop Display

I am trying to help a friend who somehow has changed the display on he
Dell Laptop so the the display is now vertical instead of horizontal.
I want to cnage it back for her but I don't know how. Any help woul
be appreciated

Normally the display adapter will have options to rotate the display
Try right clciking on the desktop and selecting 'properties' the
select the 'settings' tab. Clieck the 'advanced' button.

On my ATI card there is a tab handily labelled 'rotation' This give
options to orient the screen in 90 degree rotations

It's a feature of your friend's video card. Use Ctrl-Alt-Up Arrow (or
sometimes Ctrl-Shift-R).
