Just replaced the hard drive on a Dell laptop. Reinstalled WinXP Home using
the operating system disk that came with the laptop. The display only takes
up the center portion of the screen and I am not able to change it. Help!

Looks like display size is set to a smaller resolution than the laptop's
native resolution. Right click the deskptop, properties, settings - set the
screen resolution to the correct value.

You have to visit the Dell site and get the video driver.

You need to install the proper video driver. It should be on the CD
you have, but if not, download it from the Dell web site.
