Taskbar & desktop - vertical instead of horizontal

Somehow I moved my taskbar (even though it was locked) & although I put it
back to the bottom of the screen, all of the icons are now vertical & the
screen display has also changed to vertical display. Can anyone help please
- have tried everthing I can think of?

It's easy. Left click mouse on it and hold down, then drag to its position.

Thank you for your replies - however, it wasn't just the taskbar that had
moved but the whole screen. I've now found the answer by searching other
posts so if anyone else has this problem, use Ctrl, Alt and Up arrow to
rotate the display - it's worked for me anyway!

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Restore your system to an earlier date. Pick a date when you're sure
your taskbar was normal. Too bad Microsoft didn't have the fore-thought
to create a 'Restore my desktop to default' button for WinXP. You can't
imagine how many calls I recieve from customers who have screwed up
their desktops....

Thank GOD FOR YOU!!! I was going crazy here, with finals to study for and
papers to write and just trying to find help online had my neck all up in a
crunk! What an odd feature though... no?
