When I try to do a clean install of Windows XP on my Dell Dimensio
2100, it hangs up at the "setting up windows xp" point. It installs al
the files and reboots, but then goes back into setup only to do th
same thing over and over again.
I looked at this (http://www.mcse.ms/message349224.html) thread, an
it's close to my problem, but the thing is my computer never asks me t
press any key. It simply goes to "Setup is detecting your hardwar
configuration" and boots off of it without asking me.
I've tried taking out the cd after it enters set up and booting bac
up, but it merely gives me an error saying "Invalid BOOT Diskette
Insert a valid BOOT diskette in drive A:". I don't have a floppy in
and I don't have a cd in, but it gives me that message anyway.
Please God...anyone know what to do about this
