XP Pro Setup

Hi I have a quick question. I am trying to setup XP Pro on a AMD 64 chip
based machine. I am using a Seagate SATA drive (400GB). I begin the
installation and it completes, and tells me that the setup will restart in 15
seconds. The machine reboots, and it says Boot-CD, but it never says press
any key to boot CD. This is the option that you have where windows will
continue to setup as long as you don't press any key. If you press any key
the system will restart the windows installation from the beginning. Well I
don't press any key, and it does not give me the message to press any key to
boot from CD, it just says boot CD, and then it goes back to trying to do a
new installation. This is an ongoing thing. Any ideas as to what I can do to
fix this.

Yeah it's already set to boot to the CD drive first. It just keeps trying to
reinstall from the beginning over and over and over.

This might be a dumb question, but someones gotta ask it. You are taking the
CD out of the drive after it shuts down to restart, before it gets a chance
to reboot? And then wait till it gets tored of asking anything about booting
the CD? And you don't have boot from HD disabled, just further down than the
CD Drive?

Yes I have tried to take the CD out. The thing is, I need to leave the CD in
becuase it needs to do the GUI setup. Keep in mind it's only doing the Blue
screen Setup (the initial setup). After it does the blue screen setup where
it formats the drive for NTFS logic, the machine wants to rebbot to do the
GUI installation. And instead of going to the GUI installation, it goes back
to the original blue screen setup and wants to reformat the drive again.
