xp home upgradge to pro

Anyone know if this can be done

I have windows xp home on my computer and i have purchased xp pro

will it upgrade home edition or do i have to do a clean instal

anyone know if this can be done

Yes it can be done and very easily.
While at the Desktop, simply insert the windows XP Pro CD and follow
the prompts for an upgrade.
Data should be safe, back-up important data just in case.

I make a backup and this procedure is ok but
I have a problem now
and now when I start my computer a fail error apear:

Windows product Error:
Code Error 0 * 80004005
Win can't Check the licence of the computer

(this is a french version error message)

The original and upgrade must both be the same language.
Are they both French?
